**Job Title**: General Physician

**Location**: Jyotsna Hospital, Ramamurthy Nagar

Jyotsna Hospital, located in Ramamurthy Nagar, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Physician to join our medical team. As a General Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to our patients while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and patient care.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**: Provide primary medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and ailments.
- **Diagnosis and Treatment**: Conduct thorough medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and formulate treatment plans according to established protocols and medical best practices.
- **Medical Records**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, including examination notes, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, preventive care measures, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall health and well-being.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, assess patient condition, and administer appropriate interventions to stabilize patients as needed.
- **Continuing Education**: Stay abreast of the latest developments in medical research, treatment modalities, and healthcare technologies through ongoing education and professional development activities.

**Qualifications**:

- **Medical Degree**: MD or MBBS from a recognized medical school.
- **Licensure**: Valid medical license to practice as a General Physician in the state of Karnataka.
- **Experience**: Minimum of one year of clinical experience practicing as a General Physician, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- **Skills**: Strong clinical skills, diagnostic abilities, and proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- **Team Player**: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- **Commitment to Quality Care**: Dedication to providing compassionate, evidence-based medical care while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Part-time

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
