A Primary Resource Teacher position specializing in Environmental Studies (EVS), where the primary responsibility is to teach young students about the natural world, fostering environmental awareness and responsible behavior through engaging lesson plans, hands-on activities, and curriculum development aligned with the primary school level, often incorporating field trips and community connections to promote sustainability practices. Key responsibilities of a PRT EVS teacher include:

- **Curriculum Development**:Designing age-appropriate EVS lesson plans that cover topics like habitats, ecosystems, waste management, conservation, and renewable energy, integrating real-world examples and local contexts.
- **Engaging Instruction**:Utilizing interactive teaching methods like experiments, nature walks, visual aids, and group projects to stimulate curiosity and active learning about the environment.
- **Hands-on Activities**:Implementing practical activities like gardening, recycling projects, and nature art to reinforce environmental concepts.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:Monitoring student progress through observation, quizzes, projects, and creating strategies to address individual learning needs.
- **Environmental Stewardship**:Encouraging students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives and promoting environmental initiatives within the school community.
- **Parent Engagement**:Communicating with parents about EVS curriculum, involving them in environmental projects, and raising awareness about environmental issues.

Required qualifications for a PRT EVS position:

- Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Environmental Studies or a related field
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience at the primary level
- Strong understanding of environmental science concepts and age-appropriate pedagogy
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for environmental education and commitment to sustainability practices

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
