Job Description: Spoken English Tutor

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct online Spoken English classes for a diverse group of students, focusing on speaking, listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary development.
- Plan and prepare engaging lesson plans that align with the course objectives and cater to the needs of individual students.
- Utilize effective teaching methodologies and resources to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
- Provide clear explanations, examples, and practice opportunities to enhance students' understanding and usage of English.
- Evaluate students' progress through regular assessments, assignments, and interactive activities.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity.
- Communicate with students and address their queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and methodologies in language teaching to continuously improve teaching techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with other tutors and the course coordinator to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and assessment standards.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in teaching English as a second language or a similar role.
- Excellent command of the English language, including proficiency in grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
- Demonstrated ability to create effective and engaging lesson plans.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to address the needs of individual students.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Note: This is a part-time position requiring flexible availability to accommodate students' schedules. The tutor will be responsible for conducting one-hour classes with a maximum of 10 students per class.

**Job Type**: Freelance
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
