**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the manufacturing process. This includes overseeing production schedules, ensuring product quality, managing a team of production workers, and implementing safety protocols.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- **Production Planning and Scheduling**:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and sales, to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
- **Quality Control**:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality furniture.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly.
- **Team Management**:
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of production workers.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- **Process Optimization**:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency measures to enhance productivity.
- Work with engineering and maintenance teams to address equipment malfunctions promptly.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor and manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of materials.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures to create a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for production staff.
- **Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality control documents, and inventory records.
- **Cost Control**:
- Work towards minimizing production costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with the finance department to monitor and control expenses.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall production efficiency.
**EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXEPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in the Production Management in the Automobile / Manufacturing industry (Furniture / Wood industry will be added advantage).
- Maximum Age Limit 30 years
**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Production processes, Quality control, and Safety standards.
- Knowledge in ERP systems is added advantage.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
