Automation Designer

Reporting to

Key Responsibilities
- Worked with Feed Automation, Bowl feeder, Pick and Place Assembly automation, Solid works
- To work closely with the Technical Director, Engineers of the Tool Room and other technical professionals
- Responsible for drafting and editing engineering Datasheets for new projects.
- To review the SCOPE of WORK received from Technical Director and generate necessary Documents, Datasheets and Review Drawings.
- Should be aware of designs, Raw material, Machining & Fabrication Process
- Lead Project Design, concept generation and CAD Activities through respective support resources as needed
- Prepare engineering documentation including bill of material, design reviews
- Prepare relevant datasheets for all Mechanical equipment in the scope
- Design mechanical components, Assembly system, conveying systems, unloading system, multifeed part feeding System, Part pick & place systems, Indexing system
- Complete knowledge of International Standards, Specifications and sound engineering practices
- Awareness and comply with all relevant Quality Procedures
- Co-operate and participate in Companies Quality Management Systems
- Follow the Safety policy implemented by the organization
- Responsible for providing support to Project Teams in delivery of all project deliverables for Mechanical discipline
- Create baseline documentation to support efficient creation of design input requirements, specifications, design of experiments, acceptance test and validation protocols/reports
- Strategic planning of automation roadmap
- Design mechanical, product and system concepts at the system/part/component level that satisfy the customer's requirements
- As part of the tooling team you will help create and document the specifications for the tool
- Work closely with other teams on user interfaces, tool QA, and productization
- Designs and fabricates automation cells and/or components as needed
- Reviews and approves design drawings, user manual and installation manual
- Work closely with Project Manager/Engineer to meet project timeline and budget.
- Design control systems that provide instantaneous feedback on the production life-cycle.
- Drive various organizational initiatives like Innovation, Safety, Customer focus, processes etc.

Required Competency
- Machine automation design experience with hands on Solid Works software and Autocad.
- Excellent design and product development experience preferably in the products used in various process industries such as Automobile, Packing, Manufacturing Industry.
- Conceptualization, Costing, Calculations, Analysis, Designing, Parts selection, Cycle time reduction, Manufacturing process.
- Proven experience in handling, creating and approving 3D CAD models, drawings, Solid works etc.
- Good hands-on experience in understanding and using international standards like ASME and others
- Good Ability to work in MS project, Mathcad, and other mathematical tools
- Excellent communication, time management and multitasking and computer skills required.
- Versatile, highly motivated, self-starter able to plan, organize and work as the leader

**Salary**: Up to ₹85,000.00 per month
