Requirement - Coating Inspector

Location: Surat, Gujarat

Client - L&T

Painting Related:
Surface Preparation: Dry abrasive blasting, Hand & Power Tool cleaning, Pickling & Passivation.

Coating Systems : Liquid Epoxy Coating, Thermal Sprayed Alu, Internal Lining, Zinc Based Coating.

Method of Paint Application: Airless/Conventional spraying, Stripe coating, Brush & Roller Application etc.

Testing of Prepared surface: Surface contamination - Test
- Presence of Salts & Chlorides, Dust Level measurement

on blasted surface, Anchor Profile by Testex Tape, Moisture, Oil & Grease, Holiday/Pinhole detection, ,

Coating thickness
- WFT/DFT, Adhesion Test
- X cut/ cross Hatch, Blotter test for compressed air quality.

Coating: Inspection of coating faults such as Blisters, Blooming, Chalking, Cracking, Sagging, Run, Tear, Dry Spray,

Flaking, Holidays, Lifting, Orange peel, Pinholes, Wrinkling, and Opacity defects etc.

Equipment’s and Piping Painting/ coating: Dry Film Thickness
- Electromagnetic Gauge, Wet Film Thickness
- Wet Film Gauge (Tooth Gauge), Adhesion Test-Dolly pull off gauge (ASTM D 4541), Tape pulling (Cross Hatch & X Cut),

Chemical Resistance Test
- MEK wiping, Check Profile height
- Testex tape & Calibrated Dial micrometre.

Qualification : DME / B.E

Experience : 8 to 12 Years

**Certification : NACE Level II, Bgas Gr I + SA Experience is prefarable.
