**Job Summary**
The position will be responsible to ensure work place safety by adhering to established standards and pre-defined procedures
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and statutes such as Building And Other Construction Workers Act, 1996
- Ensure all employees are in compliance with safety norms
- Support in establishing budget proposals for the operation of the Occupational health and safety and specific training programs
- To coordinate the training of personnel in areas safety precautions like PPE at work, first aid methods, emergency preparedness, hazardous waste management, CPR, accident prevention and implementation of safe practices to prevent personal injuries to create health and safety awareness at all levels within the site.
- Promote safety initiatives and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Identify the causes of accident and advise on any improvement in safety standards that need to be made
- Address all injured and accidents and maintain statistical records of reported accidents
- Render first aid to workers and visitors in cases of injury or illness
- Carry out area safety and equipment inspections
- Conduct safety drills and maintain accurate administrative records of the drills carried out
- To respond to employees safety concerns on need basis

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelors in safety management (or) Diploma in construction safety from a recognized university
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction / real estate domain
- Proficient in English, Hindi and Telugu
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Empathetic and Social enough to address workers from diverse population
- Team player with good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in MS-Office
