The Manager on Duty (MOD) in a hospital setting is responsible for overseeing and coordinating hospital operations during assigned shifts, particularly during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The MOD ensures that administrative and operational tasks are effectively managed, providing support to clinical staff and ensuring a safe, efficient environment for patients and staff.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
Operational Management:

- Oversee daily hospital operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
- Manage bed assignments and patient flow, including admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Ensure that all areas of the hospital are adequately staffed and that resources are appropriately allocated.

Staff Supervision and Support:

- Provide leadership and support to nursing, administrative, and ancillary staff during the shift.
- Address and resolve any staffing issues, including arranging for additional staff as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for staff to address operational or clinical concerns.
- Emergency and Incident Management:

- Respond to and manage any emergencies or critical incidents, coordinating with medical and security staff as needed.
- Ensure timely communication and documentation of incidents, following hospital protocols.
- Implement contingency plans and coordinate with relevant departments during emergencies.

Patient Relations:

- Address patient and family concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Ensure that patient care standards are maintained and that all patients receive appropriate attention and services.
- **Required Languages**: English, Canada, Telugu

**Experience**: 3-5 yrs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
