**Job Title**: Eligibility Specialist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Insurance Verification**: Confirm patient insurance details through direct communication with insurance companies, utilizing online portals, and patient interactions.
- **Eligibility Assessment**: Evaluate patient information to determine qualification for various healthcare services and programs.
- **Referral and Authorization Coordination**: Obtain necessary referrals and pre-authorizations from insurance providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- **Patient Communication**: Engage with patients to gather required information, explain insurance benefits, and address any inquiries related to coverage.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and confidential records of all eligibility verifications, authorizations, and patient interactions.
- **Compliance**: Stay informed about current regulations and policies related to insurance verification and patient eligibility to ensure adherence to all applicable guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in eligibility and benefits verification within the US healthcare system, with a focus on commercial and workers' compensation insurance.
- **Skills**:

- Proficient in using insurance portals and healthcare management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on patient interaction.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Experience in obtaining referrals and authorizations is advantageous.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position requires on-site presence at our Chandigarh IT Park facility.
- Employees will work rotational night shifts to accommodate our international operations.
