Microbiologist Officer

**Key Responsibilities: Microbiological Testing**
- Perform **microbiological analysis** on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished ice cream products.
- Conduct **pathogen testing** (e.g., Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli) and monitor microbial limits.
- Ensure compliance with **HACCP, GMP, and FSMA** regulations.

**Hygiene & Sanitation Monitoring**
- Evaluate **sanitation procedures** for equipment, storage, and production areas.
- Conduct **environmental swabbing** and air quality testing in production facilities.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to **implement corrective actions** if contamination is detected.

**Regulatory Compliance & Documentation**
- Maintain **accurate records** of microbial test results and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with **FDA, FSSAI, USDA, and other relevant food safety standards**.
- Participate in **internal audits and inspections** to ensure adherence to food safety protocols.

**Research & Product Development Support**
- Work with the R&D team to **test new formulations** for microbiological stability.
- Analyze the impact of ingredients and storage conditions on microbial growth.
- Investigate **preservative efficiency** to enhance product shelf life.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in **M.Sc, Food Technology**:

- **4+ years** of experience in a food manufacturing or dairy industry (ice cream experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of **ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and food microbiology testing methods**.
- Experience with **laboratory equipment** such as PCR, ELISA, and plate counting techniques.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
