Job Description Summary- Solid telecom/design engineering/DWDM logical deployment experience (Fibcom / Ciena, UTL).-
- Background in Fiber and or Ciena, Fibcom and Adva infrastructure is essential for your success in this position. You must have a proven track record of project completion that is on time and within budget- Expert level of experience (4+ years) and ability to demonstrate skills in developing and managing DWDM optical transport systems, specifically long-haul coherent optical fiber communication systems with in-line optical amplifiers- Act as the primary technical and business relationship lead for the Optical platform, supporting both technical and business management areas. Collaborate with Internet to partners and vendors/manufacturers to evaluate new hardware and software features and come up with implementation plans for incorporating them into the network Collaborate with Internet partners to discuss roadmap, project, capacity and technical issues related to the optical platform.-
- Must possess a strong understanding of technology across multiple platforms (Optical/DWDM, IP Routing.- Participate as a member of the engineering team to provide escalated support in the operation of the optical infrastructure Assist in the coordination of undersea fiber systems and be able to work with corporate partners on sharing fiber capabilities Manage project timelines and resources to install and commission optical equipment in the Internet transport network Develop and participate in business reviews with vendors and partners related to the optical network.- Knowledge of L2 switching and L3 routing is desirable Knowledge of SNMP, TL1 or XML-based management protocols In-depth knowledge of and experience with major DWDM platforms Experience with optical planning and modeling tools Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.

Job Description Implementation Lead for Telecom & Technologies

Project Management:
- Create the project team for each project; Work with the other stakeholders to start up the project (team training, hand-over, escalation processes, templates, etc.)- Work with field team (Internal/external) across the country to raise awareness for timely implementing the project successfully.- Manage change control, escalations and customer expectations throughout the life cycle of the project- Provide customers and NCR associates with the required project reporting- Must be able to motivate and inspire people to keep the project moving toward successful completion even in the face of the physical demands of aggressive project schedules and the emotional demands of discouraging developments- Participates in requirements gathering process and user testing- Manages the interactions between the customer and the rest of the project team resulting in good customer relations and an enthusiasm for the project and the customer relationship.- May serve as a mentor in one or two product domains or customer specialties. Owns the overall management of the project, coordinating resources across organizations and managing to timeline Document all project processes & schedules plans. Manage projects within scope. Service Delivery:
