Lab Chemist

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in metallurgical / steel industry laboratory (preferred).
- Knowledge of steel grades, metallurgy, and testing standards (ASTM, IS, BIS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with spectrometer analysis, wet chemistry, and sample preparation.
- Familiarity with safety practices in chemical laboratories.
- Proficiency in maintaining lab records and preparing reports.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, alloys, and finished steel products.
- Perform tests on samples to determine composition, grade, and compliance with industry standards.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as spectrometers, carbon-sulphur analyzers, and other testing instruments.
- Prepare test reports and maintain accurate documentation of results for production and quality control purposes.
- Monitor slag, iron, and steel chemistry during different stages of production.
- Assist production and quality teams by providing timely chemical analysis to ensure process accuracy.
- Ensure laboratory safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals.
- Calibrate and validate instruments regularly to maintain testing accuracy.
- Support R&D activities for product development and process improvement.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
