Position: Weighbridge Operator

Reporting to: Plant Manager / Operations Head / Dispatch In-charge
Salary Range: ₹8,000 - ₹14,000 per month (based on experience)

Job Purpose
To operate the weighbridge efficiently, ensure accurate weighing of vehicles, maintain proper documentation, and support dispatch/logistics operations while complying with company policies and statutory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Weighbridge Operations
- Weigh all incoming and outgoing vehicles accurately.
- Generate weighment slips/gate passes and maintain records.
- Prevent fraud or misuse of the weighbridge system.
2. Documentation & Records:
- Enter data in weighbridge software/ERP system.
- Maintain daily logbooks and submit reports to accounts/dispatch.
- Ensure documentation accuracy for inward/outward materials.
3. Compliance & Accuracy
- Follow SOPs and legal metrology requirements.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in weights and documents.
- Report discrepancies to management immediately.
4. Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with truck drivers, loaders, dispatch staff, and security.
- Assist in smooth and timely movement of vehicles.
5. Maintenance & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness of weighbridge cabin and equipment.
- Report breakdowns or faults promptly.
- Follow company safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: 10+2 (Graduate/Diploma preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP/Weighbridge software).
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Freshers with basic computer knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Experience:
- 0-3 years in weighbridge/logistics/dispatch operations.
- Experience in FMCG, rice mills, cement, steel, or manufacturing industry is an added advantage (not mandatory).
