Consumer Banking Data Risk Governance

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As part of the Risk Data Governance of the Consumer and Community Bank (CCB) Risk Chief Data Office (CDO) team you will be assisting with the Oversight of Risk Data Governance and Firm wide data management initiatives. In this role you will work with the Risk Chief Data Office Governance Lead, Risk Controls leads and Sub-Lines of Business to ensure compliance with the Data Governance controls in the Data Risk Management Framework and related Control Standards and any related strategic projects
**Responsibilities**:
- Understand Current process on End to End of the Data Risk Management functions - with specific focus on Risk Data Quality Management in line with the Firmwide Data Risk Management Standards and Risk Data Quality Management procedure - communicating actionable insights to stakeholders, via periodic reporting.
- Own and manage the CDO oversight process to ensure each LOB/CF remains on track to succeed with adherence to the Data Retention and Destruction Standards and Procedures. Actively participate and collaborate in workstream forums and ad hoc working sessions, including driving agendas and keeping track of agreed actions
- Contribute to development of new tools and processes to allow for more efficient review and management of data risks
- Escalate Issues appropriately through Risk CDO Governance lead and the Risk Data Management Leadership team
- Support the Risk CDO Governance Lead in ensuring that the Data governance processes are documented with procedures and job aids compliant with Firm wide and Risk CDO initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to appropriate controls for Audit purposes.
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Between 5 to 7 years’ experience in Risk Management, Finance, Data Management, BCBS 239 Compliance, Data Protection, Business analysis, Reporting, Data usage, Process Analysis, Process Improvement, or Technology Development/Support or similar discipline.
- Strong Business Analysis skills with ability to consult with others and understand business process.
- Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, SharePoint)
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
- Experience working in a Business Reporting / Analytics function with ability to understand and write medium complexity SQL queries.
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills, with ability to present the analytical insights in key forums with leadership.
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience in designing technology / process automation
