SENIOR SECURITY EXECUTIVE
Position grade - Sr. Executive Security (Night Shift alternate week)
Title - Senior Executive Security
Reports to Asst. Fire Safety & Security Manager
Position Purpose and Nature
Assist the Asst. Security Manager in the overall performance of Security operations of the site.
Key Accountabilities and Duties
Overall responsible for site security assisting the Asst. Security Manager.
Will report to Asst Security Manager on all security related aspects, site incidents & will keep them in loop in all mail correspondence outside the department.
Ensures risk-based deployment of Security Guards & surveillance through patrolling & CCTV.
Supervise security staff, assign /monitor work assignments and provide training in life safety, first aid.
Ensure complete documentation and Police verification of vendor security personnel and periodically audit all contractors for ongoing compliance.
Develop and maintain working relationship with local Police & Fire department.
Handle emergency situations efficiently (i.e., fire, evacuations, customer complaints etc.)
Assist Asst. Security Manager in Conduct of Security mock drills.
Conduct and supervise periodic training on weekly / monthly basis.
Conduct Security Risk Assessment & plan effective Security Guarding operations during night and day.
Communicate with Asst. Security Manager regarding Security Operations, Tenant escalations on security, events, incidents, concerns of Security Team members, recommendations, staffing needs, etc. on daily / as required basis.
Prepare and furnish Security MIS on periodic basis.
Assist Asst. Security Manager in preparing budgets for vendor security staff and equipment.
To enforce strict access control at the Gates and the Receptions of the building and ensure that only staff members, workers and authorized visitors have access to the offices.
To enforce strong watch and ward duties in the area particularly inside the building, the gates and the reception and to deny entry to undesirable, unwanted and anti-social elements.
Parking security management and enforcement of parking discipline.
Monitoring of security and safety gadgets in the area.
To provide 24-hour response to incidents.
Fire Safety and OHS&W Responsibility (Additional)
Participate in OHS wellbeing programs and adhere to occupational safety related standard & procedures.
Suggest initiatives based upon fire safety suggestions, incident recommendations.
To ensure fire safety management system is implemented and communicated to the team.
To ensure OHS objective are understood and individual objectives are completed as per the defined target date.
To identify risk at his work place, control measures are implemented and communicated to concerned employees.
Actively Participation in Employee Consultation Forum and other OHS&W related meetings.
To report all incidents, NMCs, SOs that have occurred are reported and take participation as per procedures.
To ensure work is carried out as per the Permit to Work standard and also implementation of all identified control measures as per risk assessment (JSA, HIRA, TBT, etc)
To attend all the Fire Safety and Security training as per TNI and Training plan.
People Management Responsibilities
Able to lead site team to run the Security Operations smoothly in the absence of the Security Manager
