- **Financial policy development**: Develops financial strategies and ensures compliance with financial regulations
- **Investment activity**: Manages the company's investment activity and makes decisions
- **Banking relationships**: Maintains relationships with banks and rating agencies
- **Corporate finance advice**: Provides advice in matters of corporate finance
- **Budgeting**: Prepares budgets and monitors expenditures
- **Legislation and policies**: Implements relevant legislation and policies
