Student Counselor

**Experience**: Minimum 2 Years in Higher Education Institutions

**Qualification**: Ph.D. Doctorate in Psychology Is Must

**Position Overview**:
The Student Counselor is responsible for promoting the mental well-being and academic success of students by offering expert psychological guidance and counseling. With a doctoral-level background in psychology and hands-on experience in student affairs, the counselor will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment on campus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide advanced psychological counseling and mental health support to students experiencing personal, emotional, behavioral, or academic difficulties.
- Conduct psychological assessments, formulate treatment plans, and track progress.
- Design and deliver wellness programs, group therapy sessions, and mental health awareness workshops.
- Serve as a point of contact for crisis intervention and manage emergency situations with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to develop support strategies for students at risk.
- Refer students to external mental health professionals or agencies as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure confidentiality of counseling sessions.
- Contribute to policy development related to student mental health and wellness.
- Provide expert input on student behavior, campus climate, and psychosocial trends to support institutional planning.
