Fashion Designer

**Key Responsibilities**:1. Design and Concept Development**:

- Design a wide range of innerwear garments for women and kids, focusing on functionality, comfort, and style.
- Develop sketches, design boards, and prototypes for seasonal collections.
- Create innovative and age-appropriate designs for kids and stylish, functional designs for women.
- Ensure all designs cater to diverse customer needs, including size inclusivity and ergonomic considerations.

**2. Material and Fabric Selection**:

- select fabrics, trims, and accessories that are skin-friendly, durable, and suited to innerwear garments.
- Work with suppliers to procure sustainable, breathable, and hypoallergenic materials.
- Stay updated on new fabric technologies such as moisture-wicking, anti-odor, and stretchable fabrics.

**3. Pattern Making and Prototyping**:

- Collaborate with pattern makers to create accurate patterns and garment prototypes.
- Conduct fittings and ensure proper adjustments for optimal fit and comfort, especially for kids’ sensitive skin and active lifestyles.
- Test prototypes for durability, stretch, and performance before finalizing designs.

**4. Market Research and Trend Analysis**:

- Stay updated on global trends in women’s and kids’ innerwear design, colors, and styles.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in the market and propose innovative ideas.
- Incorporate feedback from customers and sales teams into new designs to enhance market appeal.

**5. Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are practical for manufacturing and cost-effective.
- Partner with merchandising teams to align collections with brand goals and customer demands.
- Provide input for marketing campaigns, emphasizing design highlights and unique selling points (USPs).

**6. Compliance and Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulations, especially for kids’ garments.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any concerns regarding material or garment quality.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in quality across all products.

**7. Customer-Centric Approach**:

- Design products that reflect customer preferences in comfort, style, and practicality.
- Consider varying body shapes for women’s designs and ensure age-appropriate styles for kids.
- Incorporate customer feedback into future collections to improve satisfaction.

**Skills and Qualifications**:Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
- Specialization in lingerie or children’s wear is an advantage.

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in designing women’s and kids’ innerwear garments.
- Hands-on experience with pattern making and garment construction for intimate wear.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction techniques specific to innerwear.
- Understanding of ergonomic and safety requirements for kids’ garments.

**Creative and Personal Attributes**:

- Strong visualization and design skills with attention to detail.
- Creativity to balance functionality and aesthetics in innerwear designs.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
