**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Planning**
- Plan a variety of in-service programs and educational programs for clinical services personnel to meet competency assessment requirements in conformance with departmental objectives and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate educational programs for an assigned service department; work closely with Chief - Nursing Services and internal consultant for specialized clinical instructional programs.
- Develop and / or assist in development of educational programs, presentations and / or patient education materials; plan and prepare training curriculum content and course outlines in conformance with program objectives and accreditation standards; modify and update existing educational programs and/or patient education materials or recommend modifications as appropriate.
- Maintain liaison with administration and departmental representatives in planning seminars, workshops, educational programs and related activities.
- Co-ordinates with various allied departments to ensure that necessary education is imparted to the patient in the wards eg Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Billing & counseling department.

**Implementation**
- Conducts orientation and induction programs for new nurses.
- Conducts in-service education programs for the assigned unit /department.
- Actively involved in nursing committees (nursing practice, nursing quality assurance programs and nursing research committees).
- Conducts training sessions for the patient based on needs.

**Evaluation**
- Evaluates effectiveness of training programs using appropriate tools and assess competency through direct observation of performance.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of instructional programs and make recommendations to Chief - Nursing Services for program content revision.
- Provides written performance reports or update at routine intervals for units/ward assigned.

**Salary**: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
