The physician **provides continuous care for the patient while in the hospital or ambulatory setting**. M**aintain, promote, and restore health by studying, diagnosing, and treating injuries and diseases**. Manage and treat a variety of medical conditions from minor cuts to mental health to palliative care to surgery. **Diagnosing diseases or ailments by conducting appropriate tests including ultrasounds, lab tests, X-rays, etc**. Providing emergency medical care until a team of specialists arrives.

Other responsibilities include:

- Giving advice on diet, hygiene, and preventative care
- Examining patients
- Prescribing medications
- Ordering, giving, and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Taking and keeping medical histories
- Etc

**Salary**: ₹15,556.92 - ₹78,320.10 per month
