**Position**: Clinical Physiotherapist
**Clinic**: Elite Advance Physiotherapy and Women's Clinic
**Location**: Keelkattalai, Chennai
**Reports to**: Clinic Director / Senior Physiotherapist

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Assessment**:

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Use clinical reasoning and a variety of tests to determine the nature of the injury or dysfunction.
- Review medical history, test results, and perform physical exams to assess the patient’s current condition.
- **Treatment Planning and Implementation**:

- Develop individual treatment programs based on patient assessments and needs.
- Utilize appropriate physiotherapy modalities such as dry needling, shockwave therapy, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapy.
- Educate patients about their conditions, rehabilitation techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- **Women’s Health Specialization**:

- Assess and treat women-specific conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy-related pain, post-partum recovery, and other gynecological conditions.
- Design specialized programs for pre and postnatal care, including exercises to support pelvic health and overall well-being.
- **Patient Education and Communication**:

- Provide advice on posture, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications to help prevent future injuries.
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients and family members to ensure understanding of the treatment process.
- **Collaboration with Healthcare Team**:

- Work closely with other medical professionals including doctors, nurses, and other physiotherapists to deliver coordinated care.
- Share insights and progress with the team to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment progress, outcomes, and changes to treatment plans.
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks, such as scheduling, billing, and insurance claims.
- **Continuous Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices, techniques, and evidence-based treatment methods.
- Participate in workshops, training, and conferences to improve skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
- Proven clinical experience (preferably 1-2 years) in physiotherapy, with a focus on musculoskeletal and women’s health conditions.
- Additional certifications or training in women’s health physiotherapy, pelvic health, or neuro rehabilitation are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of current physiotherapy techniques and modalities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records and using clinic management software.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

**Work Schedule**:

- Full-time position.
- Flexible working hours (evening and weekend shifts may be required based on patient demand).
