Bakery Chef

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare a wide range of baked goods including breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, and specialty desserts
- Design and test new recipes to innovate and improve our offerings
- Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation of all items
- Monitor ingredient stocks and place orders as needed to maintain inventory
- Ensure all baking equipment is cleaned, maintained, and used properly
- Follow food safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to meet customer expectations and order timelines
- Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff or helpers
- Manage portion control and minimize food waste

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, and decoration
- Familiarity with commercial baking equipment and food safety regulations
- Creativity and a passion for baking and dessert design
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Culinary or bakery certification is a plus
