**Business Unit**: Affinity | **Work Location**: Mumbai (Malad)
**Type of Role**: Individual Contributor.
**The Role**:
- Maintaining Books of accounts.
- Working with internal business partners to define, implement, review and improve quality control, including identification of internal risks and solutions to mitigate them.
- Providing audit support and data analysis review processes.
- Providing support and advice to Tax colleagues as well as the Business and Accounting teams. Oversee the end-to-end litigation processes in relation to indirect taxes.
- Good analytical skills (i.e., ability to decipher problems and growth areas from reports.
- Expense management.
- Coordinate and manage the use of external advisors and counsel to support filing of responses/ submission of information to tax authorities.
- Preparation and Analysis of Debtors & Creditors ageing.
- Maintaining vendor’s bills, verification and payments.
- Handling statutory matters like TDS, GST etc. and returns thereof.
- Preparation of Bank & Cash reconciliation statements.
- Maintaining cordial relationships with banks, financial institutions, professional consultants, and clients.
- Interacting with statutory and internal auditors as per requirement.
**What you’ll need to be successful**:
- Excellent Knowledge of MS-Office.
- People with Attention to detail & deep knowledge.
- Data driven and individuals with a high level of ownership.
- Strategic solution-based problem-solving skills.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Proficient in usage of entire MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
- Persistence to follow up.
- Very strong English communication skills - written and spoken.
