**JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Installation, configuration, and support of Windchill environments
- Re-hosting (Cloning) Windchill environments.
- Supports daily operations including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, capacity management, provisioning, hardware and software configuration, patching, upgrades and performance monitoring/tuning Administers multiple systems including regular after-hour & weekend supports and 24x7x365 in a 99.999% uptime environment.
- Manage lifecycles, workflows, queues, security, roles, templates, etc. within the Windchill environment.
- Troubleshoots and resolves system problems, incidents/requests, ensure SLA adherence
- Works proactively to identify root cause and recommends/ implements preventative solutions.
- Adheres to global IT standards, policies and procedures and coordinate related activities with global IT teams.
- Work with vendor to troubleshoot issues and implement patches when necessary.
- Collaborate with software vendors, extended IT teams to resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate and/or perform System Upgrades
- Provide recommendations to management on software and/or hardware upgrades.
- Provide second-level user support.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:

- **Education**: Bachelor or Master degree** **in Computer science (preferred) /Information Technology /Mechanical or Any stream** /** Master in Computer Applications
- **Experience**:At least **5-7 years’ experience in administrating Windchill PLM systems**.
- Recent PLM administration responsibilities in a global design and manufacturing environment
- Experience in PTC Windchill administration, cluster configuration, rehosting, and analyzing performance issues.
- Experience working in Linux environment, Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Configuring Windchill -CAD integrations with Creo/Inventor/Solidworks and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Oracle Database and experience in Oracle/SQL scripting.
- Experience in Windchill License management and Windchill user/license auditing.
- Familiarity with System monitoring tools like PSM, SIEM tools like Splunk will be an added advantage.
- Experience of hosting/migration to Cloud will be an added advantage.
- Experience with the migration of data from one PLM or data storage software to another will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work on a self-initiated basis and within a team environment, coordinating between various disparate teams.
- Familiarity with industry configuration management standards and methodologies
- Experience in Source control tools like GIT & CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Implement and maintain security measures to address server vulnerabilities and protect Windchill system data.
- Effective interpersonal, solid analytical, and proficient verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to set priorities and manage own workload, manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter with drive for results and attention to detail
- Able to independently complete assignments within established time frames
