**Key Responsibilities**
- Edit video content for various platforms, including social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), advertisements, and event coverage.
- Collaborate with the creative team, including videographers, content creators, and marketing teams, to produce engaging video campaigns.
- Optimize video content for audience engagement and platform-specific formats (vertical, square, horizontal).
- Colour grading and audio correction to enhance video quality.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing trends, tools, and storytelling techniques.
- Manage project timelines and deliver videos on deadlines.
- Organize and archive video assets efficiently.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (1-2 years minimum), preferably in social media or event-based content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and optimization for various platforms.
- Knowledge of visual storytelling, colour correction, and sound design.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Creative mind set with a keen eye for detail.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Familiarity with social media trends and video content optimization strategies.
- Basic knowledge of video equipment and cinematography techniques.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating motion graphics or thumbnails.
- Understanding of scriptwriting and storyboarding.
