Designation: Onco-Psychologist (Clinical Psychology)
Education Qualification: MSc Clinical Psychology / M.Phil
Experience: 2-5 years in cancer patient counseling and associated research.
Job Purpose: To be an integral part of the Clinical and Research team, focusing on meeting the psychosocial needs of breast cancer patients and their families, while actively contributing to research endeavors.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide counseling to breast cancer patients and their families, addressing psychosocial needs and grief and bereavement management.
Conduct psychosocial screening and assessments, offering evidence-based interventions.
Support genetic counseling clinic and manage patient-reported outcomes/experiences (PROs and PREs) alongside assessing quality of life parameters (QOL).
Maintain and monitor patient records and service documents.
Participate in academic activities including seminars, case presentations, and collaborative programs.
Research Role:
Lead assigned research projects, contributing to the creation of PROMs and QOL database.
Publish at least two papers annually in collaboration with the research team.
Prepare grant proposals and plan/executes projects in alignment with research objectives.

Working hours: 6 days a week, 10 am - 5:30 pm.

Collaborative effort with IISER Pune to establish the Center for Translational Cancer Research (CTCR).
Aims to integrate cancer research, training, and education to enhance translational cancer research capacity. Provides world-class infrastructure and facilities for multidisciplinary training in cancer research.
