**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Understand and comply with all laws and regulations governing the import/export of goods in the country
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tariffs, quotas, and other restrictions that may affect the company’s ability to import/export goods
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize the impact of these restrictions on the company
- Negotiate with government officials to obtain import/export licenses and permits as needed
- Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third parties to ensure that shipments are processed smoothly and in compliance with all laws and regulations
- Prepare and submit required documentation to government agencies in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor shipments to ensure that they are delivered in a timely and efficient manner
- Resolve any issues that may arise during the course of shipment
- Keep abreast of developments in the import/export industry and identify new opportunities for the company
- develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
- Manage the import/export department budget and keep costs under control
- Supervise the work of import/export staff and provide guidance and direction as needed
- Procurement of raw material from international market.
- Development of alternative local sources for imported raw materials.
- Making & Issuance of Imported Purchase Order.
- Knowledge of Import & Export documentation and rules regulations.
- Monitoring of the shipments to ensure the compliance of regulations
- Track the location of shipment.
- Use best and most economical method to prepare for goods of the shipment.
- Deals with warehousing, transportation or distribution of goods.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, or related field
- 1+ years experience in import/export operations or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Fluency in a foreign language
- Experience managing a team of import/export specialists
- Well versed experience in import of materials
- Procurement of material from international market
- Responsible for all type Imported Engineering Item
- Import & Export documentation.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
