**JOURNALIST / CONTENT WRITER - Education Sector**

**Location : Bangalore**

**Education Today** is one of India’s leading education magazines with a nationwide readership of over 12 lakh educators, principals, trustees, and parents. We cover inspiring stories, school features, education news, parenting, and EdTech insights. We are now looking for a passionate and detail-oriented **Journalist** to join our editorial team and contribute to our print and digital platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research, write, and edit **research-based articles**, blogs, and news features for our website and magazine.
- Conduct **interviews** with educators, industry leaders, and innovators in the education and EdTech sectors.
- Develop **engaging scripts** and narratives for **conferences, podcasts, and education events**.
- Ensure accuracy, originality, and consistency across all published content.
- Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to maintain the brand’s voice and quality standards.
- Perform **editing and proofreading** to ensure high editorial quality.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in **education, media, and technology** to create relevant and timely content.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or English.**:

- **1-2 years of experience** in journalism, content writing, or media—preferably in a **media house or publication**.
- Excellent command over **English writing, grammar, and storytelling.**:

- Strong **research and interviewing skills** with the ability to convert insights into compelling narratives.
- Familiarity with **SEO writing** and **digital publishing tools (WordPress, CMS, etc.)**.
- Proficiency in **editing, proofreading, and content structuring.**:

- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced editorial environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
