**Responsibilities**:

- **Collaborate with Engineers and Architects**: Work closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and translate them into accurate drawings.
- **Produce Detailed Plans**: Produce detailed plans, layouts, and illustrations that adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- **Revise and Modify Designs**: Review and revise designs as necessary based on feedback from clients, engineers, or architects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- **Maintain Drawing Database**: Organize and maintain a database of drawings, plans, and design files for future reference and revisions.
- **Stay Updated on Software**: Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of AutoCAD software and other relevant design tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- **Ensure Quality and Accuracy**: Verify the accuracy and quality of drawings before finalizing and submitting them for review or production.
- **Problem-Solving**: Identify and resolve design issues, conflicts, and discrepancies that may arise during the design process.

**Qualifications**:

- **Proficiency in AutoCAD**: In-depth knowledge and proficiency in using AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D technical drawings and models.
- **Technical Drawing Skills**: Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, including dimensioning, scaling, and annotations.
- **Knowledge of Design Standards**: Familiarity with industry-specific design standards, codes, and regulations related to architecture, engineering, construction, or manufacturing.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in creating and reviewing technical drawings and plans.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, convey design ideas, and understand project requirements.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: Ability to identify and solve design problems and challenges efficiently and creatively.
- **Time Management**: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Education and Experience**: A degree or certification in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field is often required. Previous experience working as an AutoCAD designer or drafter in a relevant industry is preferred.
