**Skills**:

- Should have excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent understanding of different Operating Systems.
- Good troubleshooting skills of Backups & Tape Libraries.
- Good understanding of Backup tools Commvault

Job Responsibilities:

- Handling all kind of Incidents, creating and presenting change request related to Backup.
- Work closely with other teams to resolve the backup issues related to their technologies. Should have worked in ITIL environment.
- Manage backup infrastructure on Windows and Linux platforms
- Should possess good knowledge on performance management for Backup/Restore.
- Possess good understanding on deduplication, synthetic backup and data sizing etc.
- Act as Liaison between client and service or hardware provider.
- For Backup Infrastructure changes, submitted and undergone Change Management process through TRB (Technical Review Board) & CAB (Change Advisor Board). As part of problem management, documented the frequently encountered issues in the environment and remediated them.

1. Excellent knowledge on Commvault Backup

2. Deep knowledge on Backup Concepts, disk based storage and tape management.

4. Should have excellent configuration, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in Commvault with Handson exp VMware, Exchange, Oracle, DB2, SQL backups types.

5. Good understanding of working and troubleshooting on tape libraries and tape drives.

6. Working experience in configuration reporting tool sets for preparing backup reports.
