**Position**: Tamil Teacher (High School)
**Job Summary**:
The High School Tamil Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Tamil language instruction to students, ensuring they develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills. The teacher should foster an appreciation for Tamil literature, culture, and heritage while preparing students for board exams and academic excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Curriculum Implementation**
- Teach Tamil language and literature to high school students as per the curriculum (CBSE).
- Develop lesson plans that align with learning objectives and syllabus requirements.
- Conduct grammar, literature, comprehension, and writing practice sessions.
- Prepare students for board exams by providing structured revision, practice tests, and exam strategies.
- Integrate technology, storytelling, drama, and cultural references to make learning engaging.

**Student Performance & Assessment**
- Design and conduct class tests, assignments, and term-end examinations.
- Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and take necessary remedial actions.
- Support students in developing essay writing, creative writing, and comprehension skills.

**Classroom & Student Management**
- Maintain a disciplined and interactive learning environment.
- Identify and support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Encourage critical thinking, discussions, and participation in Tamil-related activities.

**Co-Curricular & Cultural Activities**
- Organize Tamil language-based competitions, literary clubs, debates, and cultural events.
- Guide students in public speaking, essay writing, and poetry recitation.
- Celebrate important Tamil literary and cultural events at the school.

**Collaboration & Professional Development**
- Participate in teacher training programs, workshops, and school meetings.
- Maintain student progress records and communicate with parents during PTMs.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Master’s degree in Tamil Literature / Language with B.Ed.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience at the high school level.
- **Skills**:

- Strong command over Tamil grammar, literature, and creative writing.
- Ability to prepare students for board exams effectively.
- Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Experience in handling board exam batches.
- Passion for Tamil language, literature, and cultural heritage.
- Enthusiasm for organizing language-based activities and competitions.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
