Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities and Tasks

1. Supervising the upkeep of the Neurology areas and Recovery Room.

2. Storage, maintenance and accounting of instruments, tables and other supplies belonging to the Neurology area and Recovery Room.

3. Taking adequate precautions against fire and other hazards.

4. Keeping the emergency outfit up-to-date and in good working order in the theatre.

5. Supervising cleanliness and maintenance of the Neurology areas

6. 6. Seeing of the proper sterilization of instruments, linen and other appliances before use.

7. Seeing to the periodic testing of electrical equipment with the help of electricians.

8. Ensuring aseptic conditions in clean theatres.

9. Transporting patients to and from the Neurology areas.

10. Other duty as may be specified by the Departmental Head.
