Job Summary The role is to analyse and track key global and domestic economic indicators and develop an actionable framework that aids in understanding the interaction of these indicators with the business cycle and structural changes that they may indicate. With a view aid & improve the firm’s investment decision making process.

Detailed Job Description **Macro-Economic Framework**
- Develop and maintain econometric models and datasets that help understand the interactions of various economic indicators that affect the state of the global and domestic economies.
- Evaluate and model correlations / relationship between these variables, and how these can be used to forecast future structural

/cyclical trends
- Model/ Interpret the lead / lag effects of various macro - economic policies and how & when would they would affect the markets.
- Analyze & track the impacts of major policy changes that are happening on the global and domestic front.
- Develop a framework to understand and model flows and liquidity driven by government/central bank policies.
- Business Cycle Framework
- Model / analyse various leading /lagging indicators to have a frame
- work for understanding the current stage of the business cycle.
- Come up with an investment framework based on the stages of the business cycles and the sectors/industries that are affected by the various stages in the business cycle.
- Provide inputs to the investment team on the major macro - economic factors that would affect the companies that our under investment coverage by the firm
