- 10+ Years of experiences as Oracle Database Administrator
- Excellent understanding, installing, administering, and working knowledge of Oracle 12c, 19c, 21c databases
- Experience with migrating database to ExaCC platform
- Current Working knowledge on Exadata
- Develop and maintain system documentation related to your Oracle Exadata and software configuration.
- Experience with Patch/Upgrade and release management (database, storage node, server, network, Oracle Exadata)
- Clear understanding of Exadata features like Flash cache, Storage Index, HCC and IORM
- Exadata feature enablement, monitoring, review, and update placement strategy.
- Solid exposure of Exadata hardware
- Understanding of Luns, Cell Disk and Grid disk
- Understanding of CELLCLI and DCLI
- Performance tuning of Exadata component
- Understanding of Cell Storage software
- Experience with migration of Oracle Databases from On-premises to Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer
- Monitor resource utilization and Oracle Compute Unit (OCPU) enablement.
- Create/manage Oracle SR and support team in issue resolution
- Communicate appropriately and efficiently with management, customers, and vendors.
- On-call rotation is required to support a 24/7 environment and is also expected to be able to work outside business hours to support a global delivery.
