Job Description: Purchase Executive - Residential Construction

Location: PAREL, MUMBAI

.Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for the procurement of materials, equipment,

and services required for construction projects. This role involves sourcing suppliers,

negotiating prices, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to

materials and a proven track record in procurement within the construction industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- ⁠Procurement Planning and Execution:

- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and

compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to understand

material requirements.
- Supplier Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, price,

and delivery performance.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues.
- ⁠Cost Control and Budget Management:

- Obtain competitive quotations and conduct cost analysis to ensure

cost-effective procurement.
- Track and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
- Logistics and Delivery:

- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely

delivery of materials to project sites.
- Monitor delivery schedules and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and handling of materials during

transportation.
- Market Research:

- Conduct ongoing market research to identify new suppliers, materials,

and technologies.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and suppliers.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
