**Where do you come into the picture?**

As a Lead SDET you will be an integral player in the Nium team based in India. You will be responsible to lead and implement the test strategy for functional as well as automation by working closely with our business, product and engineering teams which is providing the best Payment experience to our Consumers and Partners. It consists of web, mobile and microservices where you have to work to build and maintain a robust, stable and scalable automation framework. You must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced and agile environment which we are building using the latest cutting-edge internet/software technologies.

Primarily focusing on: Nium Payments - Consumer and Partner Payments.

**What expertise & experiences would you need to have to play this kind of role?**

Lead the backend and frontend QA team and also work as an Individual Contributor on deliverables.
- Plan the execution by aligning the team and coordinating with the business, product and dev teams across all deliverables.
- Create, execute test plans and review and diagnose test failures.
- Work on Web, App and API testing on scalable large scale products.
- Retrospect, analyse, troubleshoot product and QA related issues in a timely fashion.
- Extensive experience in Analysis, Design, Software QA Processes, and exposed to entire software testing and Defect Cycle.
- Contribute in test automation frameworks towards adding needed capabilities, new utilities and optimisations.
- Create and maintain CI/CD towards deliverables in an automated test environment to perform smoke, sanity and regression tests across releases.
- Ensure that the project is delivered within allotted timelines and budgets.
- Mentor and provide the needed guidance and support to the team towards their learning and growth.
- Identify resourcing needs and participate in hiring etc

**Requirements**:

- 7+ Years of experience in Web, Mobile App and API testing on large scale products.
- Proficient and Hand-on experience in Automation tools i.e. Selenium, NightWatch, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured or similar.
- Proficient in any of the programming Java, Javascript, Python, Kotlin or similar.
- Good in any of the scripting language i.e. Shell, Perl, Python etc.
- Experience in Eclipse, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, TestNG, POI and respective open source or similar tools.
- Deep knowledge of CrossBrowser coverage, Selenium Grid Setup, Reporting Plugin’s (Extent, Allure, Report Portal), Device Clouds, Integrations with Test and Product Management tools.Extensive experience in Agile / Scrum / Kanban model.
- Proficient in UNIX/LINUX, Android and iOS platforms.
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases ES, Redis, Mongo, Cassandra etc
- Proficient using product and test management tools like JIRA, Asana, TestRail etc
- Proficient in Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience in performing feasibility, compatibility test & prototyping for various features.
- An effective leader with good communication, analytical, interpersonal, problem solving & "will do it" attitude.
- Experience in E-Commerce and Fintech domain would be preferred.

**Good to have -**
- If you have experience on performance, infra and failover testing.
- Worked and good understanding towards AWS cloud, GCP, Azure or similar.
