Principal UX/UI Designer

We are looking for an exceptional **Principal UX/UI Designer **who can confidently lead both the user experience and visual design in delivering world-class digital products for our globally recognised clients.

As the Principal Designer, you will be an instrumental part of conceptualising and delivering iterative customer-centred design projects to clients. You are a compelling storyteller and can guide the critique of user experience and visual design. You are comfortable leading, collaborating and playing a hands-on role.

**Key skills**:

- Extensive experience creating design solutions for high profile digital products or services, preferably agency, but client side will be considered.
- Experience turning a brief into action, providing design direction for and collaborating with multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Expert in industry-standard design visualisation and prototyping software (for example Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision and so on).
- Highly conceptual thinking in both visual and interactive design.
- Understanding of front-end development principles and execution.
- Previous experience of managing and coaching designers is desirable.

**The role**:
In this role, you will be accountable for delivering and presenting design concepts and solutions that meet the needs of the business and its clients, guiding them through an iterative customer-centred design process.

You will be working closely with multi-disciplinary project teams and all stakeholders - both internally and externally, espousing Foolproof’s values, design philosophy and practice.

You will play a part in the scoping and planning activity of design deliverables, report on the status of such deliverables to the programme management team and notify them of any risks.

Where possible, to support the wider sales team by identifying business opportunities, support pitches, and generating ideas and suggestions for prospective work.

With this in mind, you need to be self-organised and proactive.
