**Job Title**: Video Editor

**Job Overview**:A video editor is responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw footage into a finished product that aligns with the vision of the director or client. They use their creative and technical skills to bring together various elements, such as visuals, sound, and special effects, to create compelling and coherent videos.

**Software Proficiency**: Be proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator after effect, video motion, photo shop other industry-standard tools.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Editing**: Edit video footage for various projects, including films, commercials, corporate videos, documentaries, and more. This includes cutting, splicing, and arranging scenes, as well as adding transitions, effects, and graphics.

**Storytelling**: Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to understand the project's objectives and vision. Translate this vision into a cohesive narrative through editing.

**Assembly**: Select and organize the best takes and shots from raw footage. Create a rough cut for review and feedback.

**Sound Editing**: Enhance and synchronize audio tracks with video. This may involve adjusting sound levels, adding music, sound effects, or voiceovers.

**Color Correction**: Adjust and balance the colors and lighting in the video to create a consistent and visually appealing look.

**Special Effects**: Add visual effects and animations when required. This may include CGI, motion graphics, or other effects.

**Quality Control**: Ensure the final video meets technical specifications, such as resolution, aspect ratio, and file format, for various platforms and distribution channels.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with other members of the production team, such as cinematographers, sound designers, and animators, to achieve the desired outcome.

**Stay Current**: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video editing and post-production.

**Qualifications**:Proven experience as a video editor, often demonstrated through a portfolio of past work.

Proficiency in video editing software and tools.

Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.

Knowledge of sound editing and color correction techniques.

Attention to detail and a creative eye.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

A degree in film, video production, or a related field may be advantageous.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Video Editing: 1 year (required)
