Job Description: Video Editor (Shorts and Reels)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor specializing in shorts and reels to join our creative team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and crafting visually stunning and engaging short-form videos, including promotional shorts, showreels, highlight reels, and social media clips. Your expertise in storytelling, pacing, transitions, effects, and audio editing will play a crucial role in creating captivating and impactful visual content.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, target audience, and desired style for shorts and reels.
- Review raw video footage, select the best shots, and organize them in a compelling and coherent sequence.
- Edit and shape video clips to create a visually stunning and impactful narrative or highlight reel.
- Utilize pacing techniques to create dynamic and captivating short-form videos.
- Enhance and adjust video colors, brightness, contrast, and saturation to achieve a consistent and visually appealing look.
- Edit and synchronize audio tracks, including voiceovers, sound effects, and music.
- Ensure seamless audio transitions, remove background noise, and optimize audio levels for a high-quality listening experience.
- Incorporate titles, subtitles, and captions into the videos to convey key messages effectively.
- Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, considering aspect ratios, file sizes, and recommended resolutions.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, clients, or directors to understand their vision and incorporate feedback into the editing process.
- Iterate on edits and revisions to achieve the desired outcome, paying attention to detail and maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skills and keep content fresh and engaging.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, meeting deadlines and production schedules.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a focus on shorts and reels.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics in short-form videos.
- Knowledge of transitions, visual effects, motion graphics, and color grading techniques.
- Experience in audio editing and mixing, including voiceovers, sound effects, and music synchronization.
- Familiarity with optimizing videos for different platforms and formats.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with team members, clients, and directors.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a high level of quality and creativity while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually stunning and engaging short-form videos, including shorts and reels.

**Salary**: ₹10,690.49 - ₹30,000.00 per month
