**About Us**:Since 2012 **“Tru Prime Pvt. Ltd”** has operated Punjab’s largest 2000 head dairy farm, mostly HF, at Majara about 32km from and 8 km from Ahmedgarh.

The company now seeks to diversify into growing chamber multi-tier organic mushroom cultivation using captive cow manure as the principal substrate component.

The venture will consist of multiple growing chambers cultivating a variety of mushrooms, including button, oyster, paddy straw and shiitake using internally generated spawn and industry leading practices.

The company will also develop and cultivate medicinal mushrooms.

Spent mushroom substrate (SMS) will be processed in an accompanying vermicomposting facility.

The company will service both domestic and international markets, with exports dominating from year 3.

Company products will be both packaged / branded and bulk for institutional customers.

The company will develop partner farms with the supply of turnkey facilities and inoculated substrate and the buyback of SMS and bulk mushrooms.

The company is seeking professionals with experience in organic multi-chamber multi-tier mushroom cultivation at all levels including production, quality control, R&D, management, sales and marketing, finance.

**Job Title: Microbiologist (Mushroom/Vermicomposting**)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct research and development on mushroom cultivation, vermicomposting, and related microbiological processes.

2. Design, develop, and implement experiments to optimize mushroom growth, vermicomposting, and microbial consortia.

3. Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, processes, and technologies.

5. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for microbiological testing and analysis.

6. Identify and troubleshoot microbiological issues in mushroom cultivation and vermicomposting systems.

7. Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and quality.

8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, research, and developments.

9. Research and improve mushroom growth processes.

10. Strong knowledge of mushroom growth processes and hybrid strain development.

11. Familiarity with mushroom cultivation techniques.

12. Maintain mushroom-growing facilities.

**Requirements**:
1. Graduate in Microbiology, Mycology, Agriculture or related field.

2. Experience in mushroom cultivation, vermicomposting, or related areas.

3. Strong knowledge of microbial ecology, mycology.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

6. Strong organizational and time management skills.

**Desired Skills**:
1. 5 years experience with microbial culturing, isolation, and characterization.

2. Familiarity with vermicomposting, mushroom cultivation, or related processes.

3. Familiarity with laboratory information management systems.

4. Experience with Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.
