Bureau Chief

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the bureau, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry leaders
- Conduct research and analysis to inform decision making and support the development of effective policies and procedures
- Oversee and manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that resources are effectively and efficiently utilized
- Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner, including presenting at conferences and meetings, and representing the organization in media interview
- Cover live and breaking news, enterprise and investigations in the region;
- Familiarity with audience tactics to reach new readers across platforms;
- Build a network of stringers, reporters, and translators for sourcing and reporting;
- Hire and manage staff in the bureau; including proactively ensuring that the team are engaged, motivated; assess their performance and support their development;
- Collaborate with other reporters in the region during major news moments;

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
