Responsibilities:
1. CAD Modelling: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (CAMWORKS) to create detailed 3D models of components and assemblies based on engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

2. CAM Programming: Develop CNC machining programs using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to generate toolpaths and machining operations for VMC machines. Optimize programs for efficient material removal and tool utilization.

3. Toolpath Optimization: Analyze CAD models and machining requirements to determine the most suitable tooling, cutting parameters, and toolpath strategies for achieving desired part geometries, surface finishes, and tolerances.

4. Fixture Design: Design and engineer custom fixtures, clamps, and work holding solutions for securing components during machining operations on VMC machines. Ensure proper alignment, stability, and accessibility for machining.

5. Material Selection: Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to select appropriate materials for machining based on mechanical properties, availability, and cost considerations.

6. Programming Validation: Conduct thorough simulations and verifications of CNC machining programs to detect and correct potential issues such as collisions, tool interference, and inefficient tool paths. Optimize programs for cycle time reduction and production efficiency.

7. Process Documentation: Create detailed work instructions, setup sheets, and process documentation for VMC machining operations. Document tooling configurations, machining sequences, and quality control checkpoints for reference and repeatability.

8. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define inspection criteria, tolerances, and quality control measures for machined components. Conduct dimensional analysis and first-article inspections to verify part conformance.

9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in CAD/CAM technologies, machining techniques, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost savings in VMC programming and machining.

10. Team Collaboration: Work closely with machinists, operators, engineers, and production supervisors to coordinate workflow, troubleshoot programming issues, and optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality.

11. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, machine guarding requirements, and ergonomic guidelines while programming VMC machining operations. Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety standards in the workplace.

12. Customer Communication: Interface with customers, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements, provide technical support, and address any programming-related inquiries or concerns.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
