Effectively capture NFRs for system and address them during Architecture phase.
- Analyses requirements and decomposes system into logical sub-systems.
- Understand business impact of the project requirements and mitigation plan.
- Identify reusable components/frameworks and get them implemented early in the cycle.
- Plan and execute NFR validation effectively.
- Prioritize & Delegate tasks.
- Identify & mitigate technical risks in projects.
- Ensure timely escalation when delays from customer/partner is going to affect milestones.
- Realize a slice of Architecture by selecting architecturally significant use-case(s).
- Address each NFR rigorously throughout the lifecycle.
- Work with partners and make sure their tools/frameworks/platforms/products are used effectively in the context of solution. Manage changes to these components with tight control and regulate the use of stable versions in the system by defining versions of these components for each release.
- Take complete technical ownership of the solution and its impact.
- Define Technical Architecture for the system.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, architecture, design & testing.
- Ensure design of each sub-system is in alignment with architecture.
- Ensure design follows principles, standards and policies laid out during Architecture.
- Set & follow processes, guidelines, and best practices as prescribed for the project.
- Implement required processes throughout engineering cycle to ensure quality of the solution.
- Create Automation and design reusable components.
- Communicate the Architecture and key decisions taken to customer and get their buy-in & support.
- Review HLD and make sure HLD is in alignment with the Architecture.
- Mentor Technical Lead(s) in the project during the design phase.
- Review code for the critical components/modules in the system.
- Validate effectiveness of test plans and test cases for NFRs.
- Participate in meetings and make sure that actions items are prioritized.
- Ensure peer-level architecture reviews from within or outside the project.
- Capture and share best practices with the team.
- Participate in Post Project Harvest capturing key lessons and providing inputs to improve.
- Create “case study” for the project capturing business goal, architecture highlights, technology stack used and challenges faced &business outcome.
- Share the learning from the project with the organization through community sessions, blogs, whitepapers & case study.

Technical Capabilities
- Compute - Breath Knowledge on end to end Datacenter technologies - Compute, Storage, Backup, Network.
- VMware Cloud:

- Hands on experience in major Hypervisors, Server, Storage & Network technologies.
- Should have knowledge on Cloud Automation/ Orchestration software.
- Hands on experience in design and implementation of Private/ Public / Hybrid cloud environment using VMWARE product suite.
- Should have hands-on /design experience on VMWARE ESXi, vCenter, vRealize Suite, vRA, vRO.
- Expertise in designing and Implementing Private / Public /Hybrid cloud.
- Experience in creating cloud Services and catalogues.
- Experience in designing and architecting Cloud solutions.
- Should have knowledge on Cloud Automation/ Orchestration software.
- Exposure to OS and Storage Administration.
