**Responsibilities**:
**Tendering and Procurement**:
1. Assist in the tendering process by preparing accurate bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.

2. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

**Quantity Takeoff and Measurement**:
1. Conduct quantity takeoff and measurement from project drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.

2. Maintain accurate records of quantities and ensure they align with project requirements.

**Cost Estimation and Budgeting**:
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for marble and gemstone manufacturing projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.

2. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate project budgets and monitor cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

**Project Documentation and Reporting**:
1. Prepare comprehensive reports, including cost forecasts, progress reports, and variance analysis, to track project performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

2. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and payment certificates.

**Cost Control and Value Engineering**:
1. Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend value engineering options without compromising quality or project objectives.

2. Conduct regular cost audits and implement corrective measures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. 5-6 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry. Previous experience working with semi-precious stones, marbles, or granites is highly desirable.

3. Strong knowledge of quantity surveying techniques, cost estimation, and tendering procedures.

4. Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools.

5. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

6. Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

8. Knowledge of marble and gemstone manufacturing processes and associated cost factors is a plus.

9. Professional certifications or affiliations (e.g., RICS, AIQS, CIQS) are advantageous.
