**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose vision problems, eye diseases, and other abnormalities.

- Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, corneal transplantation, and other advanced ophthalmic surgeries.
- Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, or other appropriate therapies to manage eye conditions.
- Educate patients about their eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists, primary care physicians, and specialists, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology by attending conferences, seminars, and continuing medical education programs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient consultations, procedures, and treatment plans.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by regulatory bodies and medical associations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Ophthalmology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as an Ophthalmologist.
- Fellowship training in a specialized area of ophthalmology (e.g., retina, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology) preferred.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions and performing ophthalmic surgeries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advancements in the field of ophthalmology.
- Dedication to providing patient-centered care with empathy, integrity, and professionalism.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹163,000.00 per month
