Pgt English Teacher

**Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching English**:

- Deliver high-quality English lessons to senior secondary students (Grades 11 and 12).
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons on English literature, language, and writing skills, tailored to the curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring they are aligned with the school’s educational standards and objectives.
- **Curriculum Development & Implementation**:

- Design and organize lessons, assignments, and projects based on the prescribed syllabus.
- Integrate various teaching methods such as discussions, debates, role plays, and multimedia to make lessons interactive and engaging.
- Ensure the effective coverage of the entire English curriculum and prepare students for exams, including board exams.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Foster a positive learning environment and manage the classroom effectively.
- Address diverse student needs and provide differentiated instruction to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain discipline and encourage respectful behavior among students.
- **Assessment & Evaluation**:

- Evaluate students' progress through regular assignments, quizzes, projects, and tests.
- Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve.
- Prepare and administer exams, ensuring they reflect the course material and evaluate students’ understanding accurately.
- **Student Development & Mentoring**:

- Monitor students’ academic progress and offer guidance on study techniques and time management.
- Actively participate in the overall development of students, including their extracurricular activities, events, and workshops.
- **Parent Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child’s performance and progress.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' academic growth, challenges, and achievements.
- Address any parental concerns and provide recommendations to support students' academic journey.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest trends in English teaching methods, curriculum changes, and educational technology.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training programs to improve teaching skills and contribute to the school’s development.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
