**Primary Responsibility**
- The individual should be able to perform the functions of the Patrolling Officer.
- Be aware of the general procedures / conventions / authentication protocols for personnel and vehicle movements, etc.
- Ensure deployment of staff as per deployment plan laid out by the concerned area manager & correctness of deployment.
- Ensure swift response / reporting / actions in case of any law and order issues / disasters / emergencies, etc. as per laid down procedures.
- Ensure maintenance of Law and order, traffic control, facilitate emergency movements, material transfers, disaster / sabotage response & evacuation and movement of only authorized personnel, vehicle and materials.
- Preventing congestion, negating chances of conflicts, congestion on roads, law & order issues and any unrest situation.

**Basic compliance of all Security & safety SOPs, Regulations & procedures**
- Be aware of all Security & safety procedures
- Ensure ground level compliance of all Security SOPs
- Personal & underneath-staff compliance to all safety regulations
- Be aware, implement & ensure compliance to system of gate passes for personnel / materials / vehicular & dispatch movements.
- Enforcing Security regulations and procedures in every role and apprehend defaulters / detect non-compliance

**Patrolling Officer**

Ensure that complete marine area under jurisdiction is covered.
- Ensure complete coverage of area of responsibility as assigned by Area Manager / Security Shift In-Charge
- Ensuring physical counting, check & compliance to deployment schedule of Security staff.
- Ensuring traffic regulations are compiled to and apprehend / detect the defaulters / non-compliance.
- Provide immediate response to any law & order / unrest situations and contain the situation with other Security teams available on ground / mobile.
- Ensure smooth flow of traffic, personnel & vehicular movement at key gates during peak hours.Maintain surveillance in general and specific areas for crime-prevention / apprehension purposes based on provided / self.**Other functions**
- Ensuring functioning of Radio network / regular communication and reporting with staff and the Security Command Centre
- Coordination of all Admin / HR / L&D related activities.
- Procedures - Compliance of SOP/procedures/traffic / security & safety regulations

- Situation management - Crisis management & Liaison with Police/Govt. Officials; Coordination of visit
- Continuous surprise checks/supervision
