Medical Typist

Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical records, including patient histories, discharge summaries, and medical reports
- Ensure documents are accurate and free from errors
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear information
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Manage and organize electronic and paper records
- Assist in preparing documents for medical reviews and audits
- Update templates and standardize medical documentation

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in medical transcription or related field preferred
- Prior experience as a medical typist or transcriptionist
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills
