**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer, monitor, and maintain MySQL and MongoDB databases in production and non-production environments.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and regular health checks.
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure high availability and scalability using replication, clustering, and sharding techniques.
- Monitor database systems using tools such as Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM), Nagios, Prometheus, or equivalent.
- Perform regular database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
- Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams on database design, indexing strategies, and best practices.
- Automate database tasks using scripts or orchestration tools.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and access control policies are enforced.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support emergency troubleshooting and recovery.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 to 8 years of proven experience as a DBA handling MySQL and MongoDB databases.
- Deep understanding of MySQL (InnoDB, performance schema, slow query analysis) and MongoDB (replica sets, sharding, aggregation pipeline).
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL queries.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience in implementing and managing high availability and disaster recovery.
- Hands-on experience with database backup tools (e.g., Percona XtraBackup, mongodump/mongorestore).
- Knowledge of security practices, including encryption, auditing, and user privilege management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and managed DB services (e.g., RDS, DocumentDB, Atlas).
- Scripting skills (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
