**Company Description**
L’Opéra is a high-end, authentic pastry, bakery house and Salon de Thé, specializing in French products in Delhi NCR**.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Baking and Product Preparation**:
- Prepare and bake a variety of high-quality products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items, according to Lopera’s recipes and standards.
- Ensure that products are baked to perfection, meeting both taste and aesthetic standards.
- Monitor and adjust baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent results.
**Inventory and Ingredient Management**:
- Ensure that ingredients are correctly stored and handled to maintain freshness and quality.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels, rotating ingredients, and ensuring timely orders for supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
**Quality Control**:
- Maintain consistency and high-quality standards in all bakery products.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure that each batch meets Lopera’s quality criteria, including flavor, texture, and appearance.
**Team Leadership and Training**:
- Oversee and mentor junior bakers and kitchen assistants, ensuring that tasks are delegated efficiently and training is provided when necessary.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, helping to develop the skills of less experienced team members.
**Recipe and Menu Development**:
- Assist in the creation of new recipes and products, contributing creative ideas for seasonal items and special offerings.
**Health, Safety, and Cleanliness**:
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in the bakery, including cleanliness, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
- Regularly clean and maintain equipment and workstations to ensure a safe working environment.
**Requirements**:
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional bakery or kitchen environment, preferably in a supervisory or senior role.
- A strong background in preparing a variety of bakery products such as breads and viennoiseries.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Deep knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production, including dough making, proofing, and baking methods.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, consistent products.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to train and guide junior staff.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
**Education**:
Culinary degree or relevant pastry/baking certification is preferred.
Pay: ₹35,400.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
